With the advent of the information age, it has brought new opportunities for small and medium-sized enterprises to develop. Informatization has become a decisive factor for the sustainable development of small and medium-sized enterprises.  In this situation, in-depth analysis of the security of computer network management in SMEs has become an important issue for SME managers to compete for.

1.0The importance of cybersecurity management. Since my country's accession to the World Trade Organization, small and medium-sized enterprises have gradually moved towards the world. As an important communication platform, the Internet is a prerequisite for domestic SMEs to communicate with the outside world. In view of the openness and high degree of sharing of the Internet, some lawbreakers have been facilitated, resulting in endless network security problems and increasing flooding. According to NCSA related investigations, most US companies have been attacked by computer viruses, causing incalculable losses to the companies. On the one hand, network information security issues, on the other hand, network equipment security issues.

 

1.1The importance of data security management. With the rapid development of Internet technology, data information has become the core decision of the development strategy of small and medium-sized enterprises. However, due to the continuous expansion of the information network, network security has become a social hot issue. Related research shows that for a marketing department of a small and medium-sized enterprise, the loss of 300MB of data is likely to mean the loss of 130,000 RMB. For the finance department, it means a loss of 160,000 RMB, and for the engineering department, the loss may even be as high as 800,000 RMB. More importantly, if a company loses critical data and it still cannot be recovered within half a month, the company is most likely to be directly eliminated by the market.

In conclusion, computer network information security issues have adversely affected the development of small and medium-sized enterprises, which cost a lot of human resource, material and financial resources. They urgently need to be highly valued by relevant personnel, actively improve the computer network security supervision and management system, and take practical measures in a timely manner.  The network security management measures will create a clean and effective network environment for SME employees and lay a solid foundation for the sustainable development of SMEs.
